One-week course

In the week-long course, through a participatory hands-on practice workshop method the sessions will develop a good understanding of externalities of production and consumption, market incompleteness and market corrective measures, environmental tax, subsidies, permits, innovation, property rights, and justice. It draws attention to some of the key relationships between the economy, the state of the environment through the natural capital approach, especially its services and the varying importance attached to these relationships in policy implementation. This is an exciting field of economics to study, and very much at the heart of many public debates and controversies.
